A rocker switch is an electrical on/off switch which rocks from 1 side to another when pressed, leaving one side raised and another depressed.
Unionwell's selection of rocker switches comprises subminiature, miniature and power, providing a broad range for printed circuit board through-hole, surface mount and panel mount applications. PCB mount options include vertical, straight angle and surface mount, while panel mount options include front mount, rear mount and snap-in versions.
Rocker switches are generally utilized to directly power a device. They are available in many shapes, sizes and colours, with both custom and standard logos available on the actuator. Rocker switch illumination could be controlled on another circuit or be determined by change position, based on which series is selected.
Unionwell delivers a vast selection of full-sized to mini illuminated and non-illuminated snap-in Rocker Switches. Ranging from 1 to 4 sticks,.4 VA to 20 amp, with many styles of solid coloured, translucent, two-color Visi-Rockers. Certifications include UL, CSA, TUV, VDE, and much more. Carling Rocker Switches include the V-Series Contura household and L-Series, which set the industry standard for IP66, IP68, and UL1500 ignition protection sealed switches.
